John was born in
Salt Lake City,
Utah and received a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the
University of
Utah. He moved to
California
upon graduation, having accepted a position with a national accounting
firm in San Francisco. He is married to Thurza and they have two
children, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In his
spare time he enjoys helping individuals with genealogy research. He
is also an amateur violinist and plays with various groups.
Since 1967, John has been helping individuals
and small businesses with their Tax, Accounting and Financial needs.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (Taxation) Degree from
Golden Gate
University in
San Francisco.
He has earned professional designations as a Certified Public
Accountant and Certified Financial Planner. He also holds insurance
and securities licenses. As a skilled teacher he has developed
electronic learning videos on using QuickBooks.
John finds his work challenging and
invigorating. He enjoys the personal contact with his clients and likes
using his integrated knowledge of taxes, accounting and retirement planning to solve his clients' needs.
